Nigeria: 3 refineries closed due to sabotage

Nigeria's state-run oil company says that oil pipeline attacks have forced it to shut down three of its four refineries in the oil-rich West African nation

A spokesman of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation said in a statement Thursday that its refineries in the cities of Warri, Port Harcourt and Kaduna had been shut down because "pipelines have been severed."

Siasia begins work with standing Eagles team

Civilians flee army raids in Nigerian oil delta

WARRI, Nigeria (Reuters) - Fighting between the Nigerian military and armed gangs in the creeks of the oil-producing Niger Delta has killed several civilians and displaced dozens more, residents said on Friday.
